The April meeting was held on 8th of April . It was chaired by our President, Joie Ng and minutes were recorded by our Secretary Rebecca Yates. Items of discussion included;
🕵️ Scavenger Hunt received great feedback and was considered a successful event.
❓ Charity Quiz Night announced for 15 April at The Loft (Sir Walter’s), with prizes to be revealed through upcoming marketing.
🎙️ Upcoming podcast episode currently in production and set to release soon.
💼 Careers Fair preparations underway, with 26 firms attending and the event relocated to the Murdoch Gym due to weather conditions.
🚗 Careers team organising parking permits and seeking committee volunteers for event setup.
🎟️ Final release of Law Ball tickets scheduled for Friday.
⚖️ Witness Examination Grand Final confirmed for 29 April at Ashurst Offices.
🏛️ Moot Grand Final scheduled for 23 April at the Supreme Court (or HCF if required).
🤝 Client Interview competition to run from 1–2 May.
📖 Clerkship Guide currently being prepared by the Publications & Marketing team.
👕 Quarter-zips have officially arrived.
🧽 Café cleaning procedure documentation currently being developed to improve organisation and compliance.
