It’s that time of year again, time to jump into Semester Two! As always, MSLS has convened its Annual General Meeting, the perfect opportunity for Members to find out how the Society has been going in 2021, and help shape the future of the Society.
The AGM will be held NEXT WEEK in the Herbert Smith Freehills Lecture Theatre (in the Law Building) on Wednesday 11 August, with arrival from 10:00 for a 10:30 start. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Click the link below to view the agenda, Committee Reports and resolutions to be debated at the AGM! You may also nominate a proxy voter if you are unable to attend but wish to have your vote count towards motions!
Any current member of the Society is able to raise a motion to be discussed at the Meeting. Motions may be anything, but notably include things such as questions for the Committee or binding the Society to certain actions.
Nominations for the 2022 Annual Election are open! If you want to get involved in the Committee in 2022, get your nomination in now! You are highly encouraged to attend the 2021 AGM to deliver an election speech.
Nominations close at 5:00pm on 9 August 2021. You may nominate on the floor at the AGM if you wish. No nominations may be made after the AGM.
