Part-time Law Clerk position at John Holland Group

The details are as follows:

Part-time Law Clerk (2-3 days per week)

Casual position for an immediate start.

New Children’s Hospital Project – John Holland Group

Best suited to a 3rd/4th year law student

Seeking a motivated law student with the following attributes:

-A good understanding of basic contract law
-Strong computer skills
-A keen interest in back-end legal work (disputes)
-Initiative – able to work independently with minimal instructions
-Efficiency – able to use the day to full capacity

The work involves:

-Legal research
-Drafting summaries, letters, statements
-Administration of legal files
-Investigation of dispute background
-Assisting with preparation for adjudications under the Construction Contracts Act

You will receive training, so a keen interest and enthusiasm to work hard and learn new things are important attributes to have!
