Social Justice In 2008, MSLS launched a Social Justice Committee (“SJC”) with the aim to acknowledge and promote a social justice culture on campus and educate Murdoch Law Students further by keeping them informed and active on social justice and human rights issues. It is vital that a modern law school develops students who will become advocates of the principles of social justice.
The SJC seeks to promote to students issues of human rights, equality, improved access to justice, lifestyles of health and sustainability, and the need for community education on social justice issues. Look out for coming information on social justice events in 2010 such as the Innocence Project, Women in Law Breakfast, Red Cross Seminar and much more!
