PRESIDENT – ANDREW SHACKLETON

email: president@msls.asn.au

.

Andrew is in his third or 4th year of an LLB. After more than a decade in the IT industry, he decided to head back to Australia and study part-time. Andrew became involved with MSLS through assisting previous committees with their transition to an updated web presence and is now after 5 years of sitting in the IT role heckling students: The President.

He loves the Perth Magistrates Court and naturally couldn’t resist the MSLS Magistrates moot where he made the finals and subsequently entered each year since. Outside of the comforts of Murdoch, Andrew is still heavily involved in the IT industry with a focus on assisting non-profit organisations. To compliment work and study Andrew is a committed sportsman and referee most weekends. Like most Australians he loves to travel and thoroughly enjoys discussing irregular verbs in various languages whilst abroad.

He has two giant dogs that rule his life and lives in fear of assignment deadlines and the real dean of the law school: Fiona.
